How billing works
- Billing starts when your instance is running and SSH is reachable.
- You are charged for each full minute at the hourly rate divided by sixty.
- Restarting does not stop billing. Deleting the instance does.
- Queueing, provisioning and wiping are not charged.
Prepaid wallet
Top up your wallet first, then rent. Top-ups accept cards, WeChat Pay, Alipay and stablecoin, subject to availability for your region. We email you when your balance covers less than about two hours of what you have running. When the balance reaches zero you get a 30 minute grace period before the instance is deleted and its data destroyed.
ReservationsPlanned
A reservation is a prepaid block of one to five days at a daily price below the on-demand rate. It starts immediately or as soon as a machine is free, and is deleted automatically when the time is up.
Multi-node sizesPlanned
Two-node and four-node sizes are priced for the whole instance, not per machine. They are cabled together in advance, so they queue separately from single nodes.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum spend?
No. Top up any amount and pay only for the minutes you run.
Do I pay while waiting in the queue?
No. Queueing is free, and you can cancel any time.
What happens if my balance runs out?
You get a warning when the balance covers about two hours, and a 30 minute grace period at zero. If you have not topped up by then, the instance is deleted and its data is destroyed.
