1. Create an account and add an SSH key
Sign in with your email address. Before you can launch an instance, add at least one public SSH key in the console. Instances only accept key-based login, so there is no password to guess or leak.
2. Top up your wallet
Rentals are prepaid. Add funds to your wallet first and the balance is drawn down by the minute while an instance runs. Waiting in the queue is free.
3. Launch an instance
Choose a size. The single-node size comes first; the two- and four-node sizes are planned for the public launch. Give the instance a name and pick the SSH key to install. If a machine is free the instance starts straight away. If every machine is busy you join the queue for that size and are emailed when your turn comes.
4. Log in
When the instance is running, the console shows the exact connection command. It has this shape:
ssh -p <port> root@<instance-name>.<domain>You land in a container as root with all of the machine's GPU, CPU and memory available to you. Nobody else shares the machine while your instance exists.
Copy your data in and out
Use the same SSH port as for login. The console shows the exact hostname and port for your instance.
rsync -avz -e "ssh -p <port>" ./dataset/ root@<instance-name>.<domain>:/root/dataset/
scp -P <port> root@<instance-name>.<domain>:/root/results.tar.gz .5. Delete the instance when you are done
Billing stops only when you delete the instance, not when you disconnect or restart. Deleting destroys the encryption key for your data volume, so copy anything you want to keep to your own storage first.
There is no persistent storage between rentals. Treat an instance as a clean machine that exists only for the time you rent it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to try it?
You need a funded wallet. You can top up by card, WeChat Pay, Alipay or stablecoin, and there is no minimum spend beyond the top-up amount you choose.
Can I use a password instead of an SSH key?
No. Instances accept SSH key login only.
